California IVF Fertility Center

Donor egg IVF is a type of advanced reproductive technology that allows many couples to enjoy the wonders of becoming pregnant using an egg from another woman.  Most women that choose to use donor egg IVF are unable to conceive using their own eggs. By using the eggs of a young woman, donor egg IVF gives a very high pregnancy rate and allows the egg recipient to overcome infertility.  Usually there will be extra embryos that can be frozen or cryopreserved.  Cryopreserved embryos can be used at a later time if you wish to have another child, or in the event you were not successful on the first embryo transfer.  California IVF Fertility Center can help you with your goal of becoming pregnant.  We offer affordable donor egg options compared to other clinics.

Donor Egg Cycles

IVF using donor eggs is a type of advanced reproductive technology that allows many couples to enjoy the wonders of becoming pregnant using an egg from a young donor.  Most women that choose to use donor egg IVF are unable to conceive using their own eggs and many have failed IVF with their own eggs.  By using the eggs of a young woman, donor egg IVF gives very high pregnancy rates and allows the egg recipient to overcome infertility.  Usually there will be extra embryos that can be frozen for use at a later time.  Embryos that are frozen are transferred by a process known as a frozen embryo transfer or FET.  Frozen embryo cycles are much less expensive than the initial IVF cycle.  Having multiple stored embryos is a very effective way to have genetic siblings in the future.  California IVF Fertility Center can help you with your goal of becoming pregnant though our different donor egg and donor embryo options.

We do not push people to use frozen donor eggs from egg banks.  Programs offering frozen eggs will usually give recipients a limited number of eggs and will often guarantee only a single blastocyst.  If this embryo does not make a pregnancy, patients have to start over and purchase another batch of eggs.  At California IVF, patients select an egg donor from our pool of egg donors.  Donors are selected by a single recipient (non-shared cycle) or by two recipients (shared cycle).  All of the eggs that are available to the recipient are fertilized by the sperm from the recipient couple.  All of the embryos that result will belong to the recipient or recipient couple.  In most cases this will allow for more embryos available for transfer.  In most cases when a pregnancy occurs, there are enough embryos frozen for genetic siblings in the future.

Affordable Donor Eggs at California IVF Fertility Center

Because of the high cost of living in the San Francisco Bay Area, donor cycles in the Northern California and Sacramento area are significantly cheaper.  Compared to most donor egg programs in the San Francisco Bay Area, California IVF donor egg cycles can be as much as $10,000 cheaper.  Donor egg recipients will usually need 5-6 visits total.  With free on-site parking and less traffic, several trips to Sacramento will result in a significant cost savings.  Using our program that does not rely on frozen oocytes, patients generally have a much better opportunity for pregnancy, genetic siblings, and more affordable donor egg treatments.  Gestational surrogacy cycles are also available.

Third Party Treatment Options at California IVF Fertility Center

California IVF Fertility Center offers all forms of third party reproductive options.  We have donor egg cycles available including shared and non-shared donor egg options.  We also have highly experienced coordinators that work with gestational carrier or surrogate cycles.  Our California Conceptions Donor Embryo Program is a unique program that attracts patients from other states and other countries due to the very high rate of success using donor sperm and donor eggs.  We can help you understand all of the available options that allow pregnancy to occur.

Donor Eggs Donor egg options use eggs from a young woman, typically in her 20's.  The egg donor waives their rights to the eggs when they are collected.  The eggs are then fertilized and the resulting embryos belong to the recipients.  When the recipient uterus is normal, pregnancy rates with donor eggs are usually very high.  Using an egg donor instead of frozen eggs from an egg bank is usually more affordable and more effective.

Shared donor egg cycle Two recipients can share the cost of an egg donor.  This drastically reduces the cost of an egg donor cycle.  The eggs are shared between the two recipients and in most cases, there are still embryos frozen when the recipients achieve a pregnancy.

Donor Embryos Donor embryos are traditionally embryos that are left over after a couple has completed their IVF cycle.  Donor embryos may vary in quality and success but offer the most affordable option of all since embryos cannot be sold.  There is a very limited supply of donated embryos.

California Conceptions Donor Embryo Program This program uses donor sperm and donor eggs and allows the recipients to receive embryos that result from the IVF process.  The program offers 3 transfer attempts for a fixed cost.  When the uterus is normal, this program has a very high success rate and in most cases, recipients can qualify for a refund if they do not have a successful outcome.

Gestational Carrier - Surrogacy Gestational Carriers or surrogates are women who carry the pregnancy for another woman when the uterus or a woman's health risks prevent her from carrying the pregnancy.  Surrogacy cycles are more complex than regular IVF or donor cycles.  Surrogacy agencies, clinical psychologists, and attorney fees all have to be factored when considering a surrogacy cycle.

California IVF Fertility Center has worked with all of the various types of third party reproduction and we are a destination for many donor and surrogacy cycles with people traveling from other stated and other countries.  We offer some of the most affordable treatment options in California.  Our team is her to help you with your fertility needs.
