Clomiphene Citrate Challenge Test (CCCT) or Clomid Challenge Test (CCT)

The Clomid Challenge test is a test of ovarian reserve, or ovarian function study.  The clomiphene challenge test is used to assess the ability of the ovaries to respond to hormone signals. This helps assess ovarian reserve and aids with counseling patients on options for fertility treatment.  There is some variability in how different programs request a CCCT.  Below is a general guideline of the most common approach.

The Clomid Challenge Test has been replaced by more advanced forms of ovarian reserve testing.
